What is the difference between the two?
Brand Name
A brand named drug is sold by a pharmaceutical company that has patented the drug and has a trade mark protected name. Usually these drugs are more expensive than the generic brand.
Generic
Generic medications offer the same quality but at a lower cost. The West Bay Pharmacy only offers high quality generic prescriptions. We purchase medications that have been approved in countries such as Jamaica, Canada, United States, Great Britain, and the European Union as these countries offer good quality controls. This is important as other countries do not ensure that the medications contains the indicated drug or proper dosage.
It is recommended that you talk to your Pharmacist about where they get their medications.
